Information for Undergraduates

Students majoring in Ethics, Politics & Economics will emerge from the major with experience in examining social and political questions from several different disciplinary perspectives. Introductory courses provide skills and knowledge to ground more focused study later on. Core courses and applied seminars ensure that students gain experience with a wide range of analytical tools and methods. The concentration, selected individually by each student in consultation with professors and with the EPE Director of Undergraduate Studies, offers a chance to build on what students have learned from these earlier experiences and apply it to a more focused area of study. The senior essay, on a topic of their choosing, is a culminating academic experience.
