Miguel von Fedak

Miguel von Fedak (he/him/his) is a senior in Berkeley College majoring in Ethics, Politics, and Economics. Originally from Venezuela, Miguel’s interest in these inextricable domains began when he started noticing and questioning the seemingly inexplicable socio-political differences he observed between his two hometowns: Sharon, Massachusetts and Caracas, Venezuela. Throughout his career at Yale, Miguel has worked on research pertaining to affirmative action, gun violence in Mexico City, and experiments in participatory democracy in France. Miguel plans to write a thesis which analyzes deliberative democratic theory through feminist, decolonial, and materialist frameworks.
